children’s ministry

Village Green understands the blessings and challenges of raising children in the faith. We seek to partner with parents to raise lifelong followers of Christ. If you have any questions about our children’s ministry, please contact our children’s ministry director, Cindy Rojas.
On a Sunday morning, parents check in their children at the Welcome Center. After checking in, parents bring children 0-2 years old to our nursery, children 3-5 years old to our preschool room, and children K-5 join their parents in the worship service. Elementary children will be dismissed partway through the service for their own worship and teaching time. If you need any help checking in or finding a classroom, please ask a greeter or a helper at the Welcome Center.
On most Wednesdays during the school year, Village Green has AWANA from 6:30 – 8:00 PM. Village Green runs two AWANA clubs, Sparks and Truth & Training (T&T). Sparks is designed for children kindergarden-2nd grade and T&T is for 3rd-5th graders.
At AWANA children play fun high energy games, sing songs, memorize scripture, and learn about God. We believe your child will love AWANA.
Creative Arts camp
July 8-12, 9:00 am – 12:00 pm. Creative Arts Camp is a week long adventure that includes sculpting, weaving and music. It is open to children entering Kindergarten through 5th grade and costs $25 per child, with discounts for additional children enrolling in the same family. The cost includes all art supplies plus a pizza lunch on Friday where their work will be showcased. We look forward to seeing you all this summer!
